Took Eric the manager >20 minutes to sort it out even though we told him we were in a hurry.
When we checked in we even told them that we won’t be using the minibar and was assured that room service always check for real consumption. Then when I requested the bill noticed that they charged us an additional $490 minibar charges - that we never used. We were told when we checked out that “you’re all set”. They say it charges if you remove it for >15 seconds but in actuality even if you don’t move it at all sometimes it charges you.
